One of the things I got at Hobby Lobby -- I saw it just as I was about to check out -- I Can't Believe I'm Knitting SOCKS! So, I decided I would get it and use it to try to teach myself how to knit *socks*. The Basic Pattern calls for double-pointed needles, but supposedly teaches you step by step. We'll see. I was intrigued that they knit the sample socks in *SIX* different colors so as to emphasize each separate section of the socks. So, I bought 6 skeins of Red Heart Sports Yarn: 2 blues, a yellow, a pink, a green and a brown. I am excited about it, but I *really* need to do some work. Learning socks is going to take some concentration.
