Chi Rho Log Cabin Blanket

What do you all think of this:

Pure white center surrounded by the brightest golds, yellows, oranges, etc, those surrounded by cooler shades of blues, greens, purples, possibly separated with a set of neutral colors, the whole thing (maybe repeated once) and then enclosed in a border of bright RED and then in the very center, embroidered in the same bright red yarn, the Chi Rho symbol, you know, the one that looks like a "P" with a X through it, that stands for Christ.... I am think of making this as a blanket for the dear, dear person who is my spiritual mentor ... I need to get good at this Log Cabin technique though. This has to be *very* special, as she is the most special person in the world to me. I want to make it in a natural fiber, I think, rather than acrylic, either wool or cotton ...
